I took a vacation day today, tacked on to my three-day weekend, and enjoyed an amazing stay-cation. My boyfriend and I checked out an antique mall a half mile from our apartment that we didn't know existed, had lunch at a favorite restaurant/tequila bar called "The Matador" and then went furniture hunting at a cute consignment shop. We ended up hauling home a pretty shabby chic coffee table and a wicker chair for the bedroom. I came home and my boyfriend was kind enough to take these pictures. I paired a preppy white and green dress that I bought for a Kentucky Derby party with some brown boots and a leather belt to give it a western flair (a pair of heels and a hat throw it back to the east). My cat, Archer, made a cameo appearance, much to his chagrin!
