This morning I woke up 15 minutes before work and 5 minutes before my carpool arrived to pick me up. I grabbed the first things I could see without wrinkles: this wrinkle-resistant skirt by The Limited, my favorite comfy cardigan, a classic Ann Taylor Loft scoop neck tee, and simple black flats that go with anything (even the brown and grey skirt, eek! what a close call). I don't feel like this look is particularly lovely or inventive, and my flyaways are certainly a sign I need to set my alarm so that I can at least take care of my hair, but let it be a lesson to keep more un-wrinkled staples in my wardrobe and always have a "slept-in-too-late-plan."
What is your sleep-in-late outfit?
Cardigan: American Eagle; Top: Ann Taylor Loft; Skirt: The Limited (similar): Flats: H&M
Quick easy & simple. Great 5 min outfit...
ReplyDeletethanks! i wish i could have had 10 minutes!
DeleteMy 5 minute work outfits don't look nearly that put together - very nice!
ReplyDeletethis only looked okay because the skirt is fab in itself! thank you.
DeleteA pencil skirt is always a classic piece! So cool that yours is wrinkle resistant too :) I always pick out my outfits for work the night before, otherwise I'd probably be late everyday!

i don't know how this skirt avoids wrinkles like it does, but it's a godsend.
