I caught the flu on Friday afternoon and have been in bed all weekend sniveling, watching Pretty Little Liars, and catching up on my June magazine subscriptions. Today, I ventured out of the house to pick up some items to start redecorating my bedroom and decided I could brave an outfit post. It has been so pretty outside and I wish I could be out by the waterfront, antiquing, or wine tasting, so I chose a bit of a dressed up summer outfit that was still comfy. This orange-striped top felt like an unlikely combination with this pocketed olive gap skirt, but when I paired them I liked the blousy combination. Defying the black and brown rule (perhaps it was my fever?), I also wore these new, comfy Target loafers. I absolutely love them and they come in four colors, natural (as pictured), pink, teal, and a beautiful blue floral pattern.
Top: Forever 21; Skirt: The Gap; Shoes: Target; Ring: Antique

She has a fantastic theme going for the series and I highly suggest you check it out for fashion advice, tips, office do's and don'ts and real ladies like us. Please drop by and leave her some love, and maybe some follows, as she's not only kind to do a feature but a great blogger. Our post can be found here.
