This skirt reminds me of the Texas bluebonnets lining the roadsides in my hometown. I remember making lots of 'Texas' themed art in school when I was a kid, including tissue paper bluebonnets. And of course a model of the Alamo out of sugar cubes. Anyhow, the simplicity of this skirt makes it a great match with a wide array of blouses. Today I chose this soft rayon blouse in black. I really like the wider scooped neckline on this top. Simplicity can be really elegant.

ReplyDeleteThat skirt is so great! Isn't it funny how clothes can remind us of the most random memories from childhood?
