Stop, You're Making Me Blush

Top: Forever 21; Skirt: Lilies Boutique; Link bracelet: Tiffany & Co.; Cuff bracelet: Great-grandmother's sterling cuff; Necklace: Hand-me-down rose quartz from my mom (similar); Shoes: Famous Footwear (similar)

I wanted to address something that CP and I have been struggling with: our blogger voice! We've been trying to find our blogging style: do we write funny anecdotes, personal stories, wax poetic about what is in-season? Do we market our outfits or do we just post photos and ditch the text? After pow-wowing about it over g-chat (CP works one floor above me, we carpool, and yet we still gchat all day) we've decided to let go of the boring "clothes-talk" and just talk about our lives. We're ditching the "I wore this because..." unless there is a great reason we did wear a certain item because, really, almost nobody cares. So batten down the hatches faithful blog followers, we're going to get a little bit less canned and, hopefully, a lot more real!

(But wait! I do have to say something about my outfit:
That sterling cuff I'm wearing is engraved with my great grandmother's initials and originally was, I believe, her napkin ring that she turned into a beautiful bracelet. Can you say innovative?! Turns out my ancestors were thrifty too!)
