Top: Ann Taylor LOFT (on sale now!); Skirt: Target; Shoes: JC Penney; Necklace: Urban Aviary Co via Fab.com (similar)
My work wardrobe is mainly comprised of pencil skirts and I'm finding it particularly handy for the upcoming fall transition. A pair of tights and a scarf take any pencil skirt to the fall (and even winter if you've got a pair of pretty sweater tights). Because my wardrobe is so pencil skirt reliant, it can get rather boring (black, grey, tan, black, grey, tan) and so this Target animal print skirt was an awesome find. I'm not an animal print purchaser or wearer, but seeing it on so many bloggers this summer, it became a must-have, and I am glad I had an opportunity to add it to the wardrobe.
Though I don't know if there is a subtle enough pair of tights to wear with this skirt, I am definitely waiting for fall with baited breath. We've already broken out the hot chocolate, Chai tea, and cozy lights and blankets for the season! Next up... coats!

That is one really beautiful skirt, I love the pattern.
ReplyDeleteLovely look! Animal prints are so commonplace now, they are considered a neutral! An eye-catching one, certainly... :)
ReplyDeleteThe classic silhouette of a pencil skirt will never go out of style! Kudos to you for your timeless good taste. :)

Really adore that skirt! The print is perfect and I love it paired with that navy tee. You look polished and put-together for a day at the office. Can't wait to see how you transition it into fall!

i love this skirt, i'm itching to buy it when it goes on sale next week. for some reason, it doesn't really look like animal print to me either, which makes it feel a little less bold. you definitely are rockin' it either way!
