This is the second, and last, outfit photo set from my Labor Day weekend away in Oregon and features my boyfriend's front yard, driveway, and insanely over-fruitful asian pear tree. I wore this outfit to the Saturday market, a massive farmer's market in Eugene that features full food fare, produce, flowers, and crafts, then to a thrift store boutique, around a swanky marketplace full of foodie and wine-centered shops, and then home to have a picnic on the lawn. It was the perfect way to spend a vacation day (and the perfect way to spend some cash: fresh apricot brioche, cheddar sourdough fresh-baked bread, and a sterling silver necklace with pendant).
I am now back at work and no longer wearing shorts and flats, but it does feel good to be back in a routine. It's funny how I spent most of my life feeling like "going home" meant going back to my parent's house, and now it feels like my apartment. I was happy to get back to the cozy, tidy space, and back to my normal set of activities (and my diet!). How're you adjusting to the official end of summer and last holiday in sight until Thanksgiving?
