The Velveteen Rabbit

It's pouring rain outside today and dark clouds are hanging on the horizon. The leaves have finally all landed on the ground and are forming mushy piles on the sidewalks and on the cars and any shoe that isn't waterproofed is essentially done for. CP and I are struggling to find any light to take photos in. When we get up, it's barely light out and when we get off of work it's already pitch black. My boyfriend was able to take these photos using the bit of light from our gloomy afternoon and with rain falling and the heat necessarily on, I was happy to be in this snuggly outfit.

I'm going to be honest about these shoes - they're gorgeous Steve Madden heels, a towering five and a quarter inches high, and I cannot walk in them. I tottered around the apartment a bit (and stared at my feet in them happily) but could definitely not walk down the block if my life depended on it. How do you all wear such high stilettos? I'm thinking a four inch wedge might be my max heel height!
