Cat Sundays

This outfit isn't particularly inventive, but sometimes you have to take a break from a work-week full of pencil skirts and don a cozy black turtleneck and cords and just enjoy winter. Any kind of black turtleneck and skinnies moment always transports me to Audrey Hepburn land (that's the land where I am Audrey Hepburn) though my heels and inability to be petite and graceful like her bring this ensemble back to the real world. 

Behind me in this picture you can see my little Christmas tree and all the presents wrapped below it, and then, off to the left is our new dining room (we don't have a dining room so it's really an "edge-of-the-living-room table"). We have a white, shabby chic thing going on in the apartment (it isn't executed as well as I'd like, but oh well) and the table totally fits in. Once the tree has been taken down, it'll move under the window and we can finally entertain a bit better and not eat off of the coffee table.
