Last night it started to snow just the tiniest bit and this morning we woke up to a pretty dusting. This outfit was rapidly covered with coats, scarves, gloves, hats, and my shoes were swapped out with boots for the icy walk to the car and then into work. I love walking outside in the first light snow of the year and making footprints in the unmarked snow. It feels fresh, clean, and happy to me. We're watching it come down in big flurries and then stop, letting the clouds pass and the sun in, and I think we should be all melted off by this evening.
Today we have our work holiday lunch and then I am going to a hockey game with friends. After that, we'll just be finishing the work week and counting down to the holidays.
