I'm ready for Spring (well, only because I am ready for summer but that just feels unattainable right now)! I'm done with all of these heavy blazers and chunky sweaters and tights everywhere... and ready to wear heels without my toes covered in black nylon, without my calves surrounded by big old socks, and ready to wear tanks and sheer blouses without two layers underneath and two more over them.
This inspiration boards pulls on what I want to see and wear for Spring - clean black and whites. I'm a big fan of black all year round, but have been adding whites slowly to my closet because they always feel fresh and clean, even in dreary weather. I think that there is also something awesome about framing your face in either black or white - the starkness of the lack of color always brings out pretty eyes, gorgeous makeup, or rosy cheeks. Though not featured here, I'm also excited to start pairing graphic black and white prints with pastels as Spring rolls around (maybe avoiding mint but going strong with light coral and lavendar)

I was just telling my husband yesterday that I am so ready for spring. He just looked at me like I'm crazy because...well...we live in Denver and it's only January. Winter is just getting started! :(
