I'm not particularly proud of the quality of these photos, but it's been a rough couple of weeks around here, so please forgive me. Two weeks ago, Ben came down with a bad cold (it's still lingering). I got last weekend and missed a day of work and watched basically everything on Netflix. Work has been crazy busy with back to back meetings all day every day as I embark on a new project and then, kitty got sick. You can spot him in the background of this post having breakfast. He is basically the world's most high maintenance, most expensive, ridiculous cat in the history of the world. We're certain it's a combination of our weird amount of love for him and his... how do I put this lightly, lack of a functioning brain! This time he has some kind of bladder issue that can be life-threatening for cats if left untreated. So he spent all day yesterday at the vet getting expensive fluids pumped into his back and being observed. We're hopeful that it's a flare-up that'll pass and dreading needing to take him back. 

All in all, it's made for a totally stressful week and I am so ready to have a weekend where I am well enough to take some photos, make some hearty meals, and get kitty hydrated and well! Hope you all had a better week than I did!
