Custom dess: care of eShakti; Jade bracelet, shoes: Macy's
eShakti contacted me a few weeks ago and asked me to try their line of bridesmaid dresses. I was thrilled to participate and actually had a hard time choosing when faced with their gorgeous line of wear-again, custom dresses. The designs were chic, represented a great range of shapes, sizes, and styles, and best of all were entirely customizable. eShakti allows you to enter your measurements and then choose different options on the dress fit and design. On the "Make a Beeline" poplin dress that I chose above, I customized the length and opted for a knee-length dress rather than a mid-thigh, or mid-calf hemline. I also chose to maintain the sleeves as sleeveless rather than add a cap or three-quarter sleeve. Finally, I chose a scoop-neck instead of a v-neck as the scoop often flatters my long face more.
This dress felt at once dressed up but also perfect for a spring social event or tea. I think that I will be wearing it to many a spring or summer occasion even though I have no weddings on the agenda.
