Dogwood Flowers

Chambray (on sale!), shoes: Target; Tank: J. Crew; Pants: Gap; Sunglasses: Ray-Bans

When I wore this outfit to work last week Friday, I felt like I was playing on the fact that I was wearing a traditional "work shirt" to work in an office (a non-"work shirt" appropriate location). This chambray/denim/whatever you want to call it is sincerely so comfy and easy to wear it's unbelievable. It's also on sale at Target right now. It goes with everything, is perfectly cuff-able, and I don't ever want to take it off.

After work, Ben and I went strolling around the park during the golden hour, to soak up some of the beautiful afternoon sunlight (and mid-sixty degree temp) and stumbled across some gorgeous cherry blossom trees, a blooming Dogwood, and all sorts of spring blooming in the evening air. The park even smelled of fresh, nectar-filled blossoms and we kept getting whiffs of this sweet-sweet smell across the park. Ben had a blast playing with the sun in these photos and the series that weren't posted featuring the sun as a blinding orb shining through my legs (about 10 photos worth of those shenanigans). We go crazy in Washington when it's sunny... what can I say?
