This weekend I took myself to a movie, in true Tom Haverford and Donna Meagle "Treat Yo' Self" style. It's something that was definitely out of my comfort zone and that I'd never done before. I actually attempted to talk myself out of going prior to the movie... such is the way my brain works. We have a little theatre down the street that plays independent films and I went to see Mud on Sunday night while Ben was attending a going-away party for a friend. The film was excellent, as was the alone time spent watching a movie. I would highly recommend the film (it's about two young boys that assist a fugitive on the Mississippi River) for anyone.
Have any of you ever taken yourself out on a date to a film/dinner/show? I think it was a good exercise in being comfortable alone and actually saw quite a few other people at the theatre that were attending by themselves.
