This weekend has been unfortunately rainy for Memorial Day weekend, so we've been inside the apartment for much of it. Yesterday, we had a lot of fun in Seattle during the day and ended the night having drinks with friends and watching some Arrested Development. In preparation for season 4, we have been watching all of the previous seasons and finally were able to start the freshly released season 4 this afternoon after some Sunday napping. A few episodes in, I have some mixed feelings but think that it's actually a pretty successful new season so far, given that some actors have aged weirdly (Portia de Rossi? what?) and sometimes it's a little too self-referential. Can't wait to hear what you all think about the season!
Today, when we finally ventured out of the apartment for more snacks, I got the chance to wear my new dress from Elegantees. The company embodies the idea of shopping for a cause by working to rescue women in New York and Nepal from sex trafficking by giving them fair-trade sewing jobs. Their clothing is easy to wear, absolutely work appropriate (can I just say a big thank you to this dress length?! I can wear it to work!), and affordable. Please make sure to visit Elegantees to check out their clothing and mission!
