Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head

We're having our usual May drizzly weather and the rain and chilly wind is back, making wearing all those summer sandals pretty much an impossibility. So today it was a photoshoot inside the house with the twinkle-lights on and summery peonies by my bedside to cheer up a gloomy afternoon. I love quiet indoor photoshoots for the obvious reasons - there's no one watching you test out poses and faces but most of all, it's warm. Ben and I have been making warm dinners every night to keep the chilly weather at bay and snuggling up with tea and blankets. Sometimes it's nice to have a little spell of bad weather to give you some indoor time that doesn't fill you with guilt.
