Coming to a Close

As you can see from the boxes stored underneath my dining table, I am packing. Everything is in shambles - the apartment looks like a disaster zone. Kitty is loving the bags, boxes, new places to hide and explore, but I can't say I'm as into it. Ben comes home tonight and I am expecting him to finish the rest (can I be done after 20 terribly packed boxes?)... well, not really. But a girl can dream. So I do apologize about the blog laziness lately, but I am trying to keep my sanity amidst the mess and confusion in my apartment and my partially packed wardrobe.

I am also packed and moved almost entirely out of my office and working now on a laptop while I train my replacement. It's been non-stop talking and training and I bet she's just as exhausted as I am. But it's not stopping here. Tonight, I get Ben from the airport, tomorrow we drive down to Portland to meet my new employers, and then we're packing for two days, having a going away party (two nights worth of them), and then flying to Hawaii on Sunday. When we get back, we have a day to load everything into the U-Haul and get outta dodge. Dodge being my beloved city of destiny, Tacoma.

Phew. Someone get me a beer.

    Love the top; especially the color and the lace detail of the skirt! Good luck with the move! You just reminded of what I have to look forward to when I move in couple of weeks. But then again, I am only moving to a different place, and not to a different city. :)
