Top: Forever21; Cardigan, boots: c/o Aeropostale; Jeans: Paige Denim
Ben and I drove three hours southwest of Portland today to visit the Siletz reservation for their annual pow-wow and ended up taking a quick stop on the way home to snap some outfit photos on the coast. I wore my cacti cropped top (just because the weekend is my only crop-portunority). I also snagged these amazing booties from the Aeropostale relaunch and I know you're already familiar with this cardigan from the last post - but it's so comfy and perfect that I cannot stop wearing it. The entire outfit worked perfectly for the foggy and chilly weather that's always plaguing the Oregon coast and only caught a bit of a chill late in the afternoon when the wind started to blow off of the water.
When we reached the shore, the most striking thing we saw was a crowded shore of seals and pelicans (across the bay). When I say crowded, I mean that the seals were covering the entire beach and were stacked up like sardine seals. Next to them were the giant pelicans that ended up taking off across the skyline while we took our photos (see the crew in the last photo above). It was a perfect coastal experience - with the chilly weather, the fog rolling in and the amazing shore-life. Hope you all are enjoying/loving your weekends!
