Spring is notorious for cleaning and purging your house, and life, of the old. I think it's probably due to the fact that spring brings in so much newness - flowers and clothing and happy sunshine through the windows. It shines lights on the dusty portions of your home that have been sitting stagnant through the winter. It allows you to unpack boxes of skirts and swap out, or toss, your pilling sweaters. I love getting organized in the spring and coming home to a warm, organized home that no longer needs heat, or big blankets, or moccasins.
