I've had a long week and there's nowhere I'd rather be than in bed, with this book, in these pajamas, under this duvet. I'd actually like to hibernate there for the entire weekend, not surfacing for anything but a charcuterie board and good champagne, but it's actually going to stay busy for me this weekend. My maid of honor and best friend is coming to town this weekend to host our couples shower. We're going to celebrate with a small group (as most of our guests don't live in Portland) at a local, non-profit brewery. What could be more fitting than that? It won't be anything fancy - at this point in planning, I only want easy, low-key events that take minimal cost and effort. As the date draws closer, all of the tiny nit-picky arrangements are starting to come up due and it's more than enough to handle those.

We're also hoping to go wine tasting in the Willamette Valley, eat out, and drink up. It's time for a much-needed weekend and an extra day off on MLK day as well!
